[full_width padding=”0 70px 40px 70px”]Richard Arredondo is a Professor who has dedicated many years to higher education in Graphic Design and Fine Arts in San Antonio, Texas.
As a Graphic Designer, his industry experience extends to San Antonio, Texas, New York City and Mexico. He has created designs for such organizations as the American Heart Association, Centro Cultural Aztlan and Jump Start Theatre, to name few.As a Fine Artist, Richard has participated in group exhibitions at the Bihlhaus art space, SaySi, Centro Cultural Aztlan, and the San Antonio Visual Arts Association.
In New York, Richard was a member of the Washington Square Art Group and exhibited in Greenwich Village galleries. He also has shown his work in Mexico.

As an educator in the arts, he has guided and nurtured many young designers and artists in the San Antonio and South Texas community.

Artist Statement

Using pastels as his existing medium, Richard has created work that invokes a stylistic spiritual surrealism defining a visual language that reflects his inner meditative sensibilities as well as his Catholic bonds.
